William Paul Mason was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1989. He is a founding partner of Mason Bahr LLP.
Mr. Mason has gained extensive trial experience in complex civil litigation matters, and he has successfully conducted over 100 jury and nonjury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Mr. Mason has obtained individual settlements and judgments exceeding $1,000,000.00.
Mr. Mason has represented clients at all levels of state and federal trial and appellate courts in Georgia, as well as in federal courts in the District of Columbia, Alabama, New York, California, Pennsylvania, and Washington, and state trial courts in North Carolina, Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama.
Mr. Mason’s clients include Fortune 100 companies, publicly traded businesses, large privately held businesses, startup businesses, as well as individuals. Mr. Mason’s practice is comprised of complex civil litigation and serving as outside general counsel to small and medium sized businesses.
Mr. Mason volunteered his time as appointed counsel in misdemeanor cases for the Gwinnett County Indigent Defense program. He also has used his extensive musical background to venture into entertainment law, representing the band, Roman Candle. In addition, Mr. Mason has attended multiple Gerry Spence Regional Trial Lawyers College seminars.
Mr. Mason graduated cum laude from Western Carolina University in 1984 with a B.S. degree in criminal justice. In 1989, he graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he was Administrative Editor for the Mercer Law Review, a teacher’s assistant, and writer for the Legal Eagle, the law school’s newspaper.
