History

The law firm of Mason Bahr LLP had its advent in 1989 when William Paul Mason and Kevin J. Bahr graduated law school. Mr. Mason graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, and Mr. Bahr graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law.

As young lawyers, Mr. Mason developed his advocacy skills and business experience through extensive trial work and advising myriad different businesses; Mr. Bahr spent more than a decade with a large, downtown Atlanta law firm where his practice encompassed general civil trial and appellate work, business law, and insurance coverage litigation.

After working together on several complex litigation matters, in May 2001 Mr. Bahr joined Mr. Mason’s law firm. On June 1, 2003, Messrs. Mason and Bahr formed the law firm of Mason Bahr LLP.

In October 2004, William D. Carter, Jr. joined Mason Bahr LLP. Mr. Carter spent the prior two years with the law firm that served as county guardian for Gwinnett County.  During this time, Mr. Carter established his credentials as a skilled lawyer.

Mason Bahr LLP has a strong foundation in business and in litigation.  Its lawyers have secured judgments, arbitration awards, and settlements totaling many millions of dollars. Its lawyers have been responsible for forming over 1,000 businesses.
